Stronger Together
Supporting immigrants and refugees is a community effort.
We work to connect individuals and families with local organizations, schools, employers, government agencies, nonprofits, and other community partners.
Through collaboration, we can help newcomers access the resources they need while building stronger connections throughout Siouxland.

Who we partner with
Six kinds of partner, one shared goal.
Whatever your organization does, there is a way to work together. Here is how partnerships usually look.
Faith communities
Congregations host clinics, sponsor families and furnish first homes.
Schools and colleges
We train staff, translate notices and welcome new families at enrollment.
Health clinics
Interpreters on call and referrals that close the loop for patients.
Employers
Work permit clinics on site, and introductions to job ready newcomers.
Libraries and civic groups
Know your rights workshops and citizenship classes in trusted public spaces.
Counties and cities
Language access planning and welcoming community initiatives.
Get involved
Let's work together.
Partner with us, volunteer, or join our team. Tell us a little about yourself, and someone replies within a week.
Tell us about you
A few questions, the right ones for a partner, a volunteer or a job.
Meet with us
A thirty minute call or video meeting to listen and explore ideas.
Start small
Most partnerships begin with one workshop or clinic, and grow from there.
Volunteer
Give an hour, change a first week.
Share your time, skills, language abilities, or experience to help individuals and families navigate their new communities.
Teach or tutor in our citizenship classes
Drive families to medical and legal appointments
Share your language abilities
Furnish a first home or sort donations
Welcome visitors at the front desk on clinic nights
